Spectral Sidechain

What it does

A classic sidechain compressor turns the whole target down. Spectral Sidechain only ducks the frequencies the trigger actually occupies, inside a range you choose.

• Kick carves room in bass without dropping the entire bass level.
• Vocals can sit in a dense bed without obvious pumping.
• Active range keeps the effect limited to the frequencies that matter.

Key controls

• Sensitivity controls when ducking starts.
• Depth controls the maximum reduction.
• Attack and Release shape the movement.
• Range Low and Range High define where ducking is allowed.
• Mix and Output control blend and level.
